Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Tasker Work. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Tasker Work ("the Service"), you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Tasker Work is a cloud-based project management and team collaboration platform offered on a subscription basis. The Service includes web, desktop, and mobile applications, real-time communication features, file storage, and AI-powered tools. Feature availability may vary by subscription plan.
3. Account Registration & Security
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@taskerwork.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that exhibit suspicious or abusive behavior.
4. Subscription Plans & Billing
Tasker Work offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are displayed in USD and are subject to applicable taxes. We use Stripe for payment processing — we never store your raw payment card data. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) upload malware, viruses, or malicious code; (b) send spam or unsolicited messages; (c) scrape or harvest data through automated means without our written consent; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system; (e) violate any applicable law or regulation; (f) infringe the intellectual property rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. In summary: we collect only the data necessary to provide the Service, we do not sell your personal data to third parties, and you retain ownership of all content you create within the platform.
7. Intellectual Property
Tasker Work and its underlying technology, trademarks, and logos are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You retain ownership of all content you upload or create ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
8. Service Availability & SLA
We strive to maintain 99.9% monthly uptime for paid plans. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced at least 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by force majeure events, third-party infrastructure failures, or your own network conditions. Service credits for downtime exceeding the SLA may be requested by contacting support.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
11. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by visiting Account Settings > Danger Zone. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export it. We may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these Terms with or without notice depending on severity.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
